Salary: £32,137 per year
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Work location: Pontefract (Hybrid – minimum 60% office-based after training)

Your Role Will Include:
As a Fraud Officer, you will:
- Conduct detailed fraud investigations via interviews (phone & in-person)
- Gather, analyse, and scrutinise evidence to identify fraud or errors
- Reassess benefit claims and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with DWP policies and operational standards
- Work with internal teams and external partners to raise fraud awareness
- Manage complex cases while handling sensitive information securely
- Prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Commitment to achieving Government Counter Fraud Profession (GCFP) Practitioner-level membership
