Position: Missing Support Worker

Salary: £31,022 – £33,699 per annum 

Job Type: Permanent | Full-time

Your Role Will Include:

  • Conducting missing return interviews with children and young people
  • Assessing risk, vulnerability, and level of need
  • Developing missing risk management plans to reduce repeat episodes
  • Supporting families through tailored outreach and intervention packages
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary framework
  • Liaising with case workers and Missing Coordinators
  • Signposting families to relevant support services
  • Raising awareness through training sessions and seminars

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualification in social care/social sciences or NVQ Level 3 (Caring for Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding policies and protocols
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families
  • Ability to assess risk and develop effective support strategies
  • Strong communication and partnership-working skills

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check including the Children’s Barred List.
