Sunnyside House, located in Birdwood near Gloucester, is a warm and sociable residential home set in two acres of landscaped gardens. It supports up to 11 adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated complex needs, encouraging independence, confidence, and meaningful daily living.

Position: Social Care Worker

Salary: £12.25 per hour (based on a 48-hour contract)

Job Type: Full-time 

Work location: Tewkesbury GL19 3EH

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding support)
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting residents with daily activities, hobbies, and outings
  • Following care plans and company policies
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with residents
  • Maintaining accurate daily records
  • Attending and completing required training

What We Are Looking For:

  • Patient, reliable, and flexible individuals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team players with a caring attitude
  • Willingness to learn (full training provided)
  • Experience in care plans is beneficial but not essential
