Position: Telephone and Online Adviser
Salary: £31,600 per yearÂ
Job Type: Fixed-term contract / Full-time
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)

Your Role Will Include:
- Provide legal advice and assistance via Shelter’s emergency helpline
- Respond immediately and effectively to high-pressure situations
- Liaise with third parties, local authorities, and review legal documentation
- Work on a 6-week shift rota, Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience delivering services to the public
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and typing
- Emotional resilience to help clients in distress or crisis
- Ability to work independently and challenge external parties to enforce housing rights
