Position: Night Care Worker

Salary: £29,540 – £33,699 per year

Job Type: Part-time | Permanent

Your Role Will Include:

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people during night hours
• Engage positively with young people and their families to meet care needs overnight
• Deliver care in residential homes, family homes, or community settings
• Act as a positive role model, offering reassurance, guidance, and emotional support
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs of young people are met throughout the night
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with day staff and managers

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve within 18 months
• Experience working with children and young people
• Caring, compassionate, and positive attitude
• Ability to work a 7-day shift rota, including weekends
• Enhanced DBS clearance (and overseas police clearance where applicable)
• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Ability to meet UK right-to-work requirements
