Position: Support Worker – Learning Disabilities

Salary: £12.30 per hour

Job Type: Permanent | Full-time

Work location: Paignton, Devon, United Kingdom

Your Role Will Include:

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, brain injuries, and mental health needs
  • Provide personal and intimate care with dignity and respect
  • Support individuals with non-verbal or complex communication needs
  • Promote independence, choice, and community participation
  • Assist with medication in line with care plans and training
  • Maintain accurate daily records and documentation
  • Work flexibly across different services, including days, nights, and sleep-in shifts

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally at least 1 year of experience in a care or support role
  • Comfortable providing personal care
  • Flexible and reliable, able to work varied shifts
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle with business insurance
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check and join the DBS Update Service
  • Compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach
