Your Role Will Include:
- Deliver the highest standards of care in Hepatology & Gastroenterology
- Share responsibility for daily departmental management
- Develop and lead subspecialty clinical interests
- Teach and train medical students and postgraduate doctors
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and continuing medical education
- Attend departmental meetings and fulfill weekly timetable duties
What We’re Looking For:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- GMC Specialist Register status or within 6 months of CCT (or equivalent)
- MRCP qualification
- Proven experience in Hepatology and Gastroenterology
- Teaching experience with students, peers, and MDTs
- Strong communication, IT, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English (IELTS level 7.5)
- Willingness to live within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call duties
Desirable:
- Higher degree (MD or PhD)
- Train-the-trainer qualification
- Management training
