Position: GP with an interest in palliative care
Salary: £88,000 – £100,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent

Your Role Will Include:
You will serve as a GP with a special interest in palliative and end-of-life care, providing high-quality, patient-centred primary care. Your responsibilities include:
- ‎Delivering generalist and specialist palliative care across practice and community settings
- ‎Leading anticipatory care planning, advance care planning, and DNACPR discussions
- ‎Supporting symptom management, medication optimisation, and avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions
- ‎Acting as the clinical lead for palliative care within the practice
- ‎Collaborating closely with community nurses, hospices, specialist teams, PCN services, secondary care, and social care colleagues
- ‎Contributing to service development, quality improvement, and supporting colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the performers’ list
- ‎Postgraduate training or experience in palliative care (e.g., Diploma in Palliative Medicine, RCGP End of Life Care modules)
- ‎Proven ability to provide high-quality general practice and advanced illness/end-of-life care
- ‎Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and sectors
- ‎Evidence of ongoing professional development
