Position: Housekeeper – Band 2

Salary: £24,465 per year (pro rata)

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time 

Work Location: Lake House, Scarborough Business Park, Scarborough

Your Role Will Include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining patient, office, and communal areas
  • Supporting catering and food service tasks when required
  • Following health & safety and COSHH regulations
  • Participating in deep-cleaning procedures
  • Working as part of a multi-professional team
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff

What We Are Looking For:

Essential:

  • Food Hygiene Level 2 (to be completed within 12 months if not already held)
  • Experience in cleaning or catering duties
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not provided)

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Housekeeping
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Experience working with mental health or learning disability patients

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Good communication and time management
  • Understanding of confidentiality practices
