Position: Social Worker (Band 5)

Salary: £31,049 – £37,796 per year

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Work location: Brunswick Avenue, Hull, HU2 9AY, UK

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting individuals with mental health challenges to improve independence and wellbeing
• Conducting strength-based assessments and arranging care packages
• Working collaboratively with NHS teams, local authorities, and care providers
• Promoting safeguarding, equality, and patient-centered approaches
• Engaging service users and carers in decision-making processes

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England
• Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, Care Act, safeguarding
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical practice, equality, and diversity
• Willingness to complete ASYE and work with mental health service users
