Position: Vehicle Technician (Mechanic)

Salary: £31,049 – £37,796 per year

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Location: Plymouth, UK

Your Role Will Include:

  • Service, maintain, and repair ambulance vehicles and specialist equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out scheduled inspections according to manufacturer and Trust standards
  • Record work completed accurately
  • Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment
  • Work independently and as part of the Fleet & Equipment team

What We Are Looking For:

  • HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or recognized training scheme
  • Motor Vehicle Craft Studies Parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent
  • Clean driving licence (C1 licence desirable)
  • Experience with a range of vehicles and diagnostic tools
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
