Position: Staff Nurse (PICU)
Salary: £37,259 – £45,356 per annum

Your Role Will Include:
- Deliver the highest standard of nursing care to critically ill children and young people
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate individualised care programmes
- Support and supervise junior staff where appropriate
- Advocate for children, young people, and their families
- Communicate complex and sensitive information compassionately and clearly
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and family-centred care environment
- Begin discharge planning from admission in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
What We’re Looking For:
- NMC-registered Child Nurse with at least 12 months post-registration experience OR NMC-registered Adult Nurse with 12 months ICU or Emergency Department experience
- Internationally Educated Nurses must hold an active NMC PIN
- Experience caring for acutely or chronically unwell children (or transferable specialist skills)
- Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and safeguarding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, organised, and professional approach to care
- This role is not suitable for Newly Registered Nurses.
