Position: Social Care Worker

Salary: £30,691.29 – £33,732.26 per year 

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent 

Work location: Glenrothes Fife, UK

Your Role Will Include:

  • Support adults with learning disabilities and mental health disorders in their homes and local communities
  • Work across day shifts, late shifts, sleepovers, night shifts, and weekends
  • Perform keyworker duties: assess, plan, implement, monitor, and review individual support plans
  • Maintain accurate records and deliver outcomes-focused support
  • Lone work in shared or single tenancies as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid or in-progress SSSC registration (SCQF level 7 / SVQ3 equivalent)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
  • Ability to manage workload, work independently, and mentor junior staff
  • Physical capability for personal care tasks and CALM training
  • PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.

If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you’re registered within the required six months. More details are included in the role profile
