FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistants (Holder of a valid right to work in UK) to join our team in providing compassionate care within a care home setting, supporting living, and domiciliary. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties
● Assisting services users with personal care tasks
● Supporting service users with mobility and physical activities
● Communicating effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
● Implementing care plans and documenting service users’ progress
● Providing emotional support and companionship to service users
● Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment within the care home
Skills
● A clean UK driving licence with own vehicle an added advantage*_
● Must be a holder of a valid right to work in the UK
● Experience in care home or home care settings is advantageous. Also experience in care for service users with challenging behaviours.
● Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes
● Excellent communication skills, particularly in English
● Familiarity with care plans and procedures
● Compassionate nature and a genuine interest in caring for others
