Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Independent Review team
  • Acting as a central point of contact, managing emails and telephone enquiries promptly
  • Supporting the administration of Looked After Children (LAC) reviews, including diary coordination, invitations, consultation documents, and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate databases and tracking systems to ensure statutory compliance
  • Producing performance and activity reports for managers
  • Assisting with other SRQA service administration, including LADO support and Child Protection Conferences
  • Taking ownership of self-contained projects and additional duties as directed by line manager
  • Ensuring confidentiality, attention to detail, and statutory deadlines are consistently met

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in a business support role, preferably within a Local Authority or similar environment
  • Strong administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping and minute-taking
  • Confident use of IT packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database systems (e.g., Mosaic)
  • Organised, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities independently
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to Looked After Children and statutory review processes is desirable
  • Professional, discreet, and capable of maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
