This role is based at Christian Head Residential Home, a residential care home providing support for up to 28 residents with complex healthcare needs, including elderly, frail, and dementia residents.

Position: Support Worker (Carer / Care Assistant)

Salary: £13.47 – £17.96 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time (20.5 – 30 hours per week)

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting elderly residents with daily living activities
• Providing personal care and emotional support
• Assisting with medication (where required)
• Promoting independence, mobility, and wellbeing
• Encouraging good nutrition and physical activity
• Supporting residents with dementia and complex care needs
• Maintaining a safe, caring, home-from-home environment
• Working collaboratively within the residential care team
• Following safeguarding procedures and regulated activity standards

• Compassionate, caring individuals with a genuine passion for helping others
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work weekends and shifts (including bank holidays)
• Commitment to safeguarding adults
• No prior qualifications required — training provided
• Eligibility to pass an Enhanced DBS check with Adults Barred List check
• Right to work in the UK
