Your Role Will Include:
- Architecting and implementing high-throughput digital pipelines (multi-GSPS input rates)
- End-to-end ownership of real-time data-processing silicon
- FPGA prototyping (Xilinx/AMD, Intel, or equivalent)
- RTL development (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL)
- Power, performance & area (PPA) optimisation
- Timing closure across multi-GHz clock domains
- Algorithm modelling (MATLAB/Simulink or Python/NumPy)
- Collaboration across optical, mixed-signal & software teams
- Leading design reviews and mentoring junior engineers
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ years of high-performance ASIC/SoC digital design experience
- Proven success closing timing on high-speed IP integrations
- Strong EDA flow expertise (STA, CDC/RDC, synthesis, lint, power-intent)
- FPGA prototyping and hardware debugging experience
- Deep understanding of DSP, semiconductor physics & computer architecture
- Strong communication & cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Tape-out experience at 22nm or below
- Knowledge of optical links or photonic-electronic co-design
- AI/ML hardware architecture familiarity
- Open-source RTL or FPGA contributions
