S A Rahman Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced and hands-on Technical Lead to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications aligned with business and technical requirements.

This role focuses on leading technical delivery across backend systems, APIs, and cloud-based solutions while collaborating closely with solution architects and designers to build scalable, secure, and production-ready systems.

Work location: Hybrid remote in Slough

Your Role Will Include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Leading development and integration of APIs and backend services
• Supporting cloud deployments and ensuring operational stability
• Overseeing code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation
• Ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable system delivery
• Providing technical guidance to engineering teams
• Travelling internationally when required

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in software development (Java, Python, C++, or similar)
• Strong backend systems and RESTful API experience
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• At least 4 years of Technical Leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Slough (relocation support provided)
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
