Position: Nursery Nurse

Salary: £30,546 – £32,207 per year

Job Type: Full-time | Fixed-term contract

Your Role Will Include:

• Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families
• Deliver high-quality childcare experiences and maintain excellent nursery standards
• Observe, support, and extend children’s learning and development
• Plan and implement activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Contribute to daily and weekly planning for children aged 0–5
• Work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive nursery team

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Level 3 Childcare & Education qualification (NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent approved by Ofsted)
• Significant experience working in a nursery setting (3 months – 5 years)
• Strong understanding of EYFS and Development Matters
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to inclusive practice and diversity

Desirable:

• Paediatric First Aid qualification
