Your Role Will Include:

As a Nurse at Cwm Celyn in Blaina, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred, high-quality care within a 24-bed specialist service supporting adults with long-term functional mental health needs and/or complex physical conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • ‎Assessing residents’ needs and developing care plans that promote independence, dignity, and choice
  • ‎Delivering and overseeing safe, effective nursing care to enhance residents’ quality of life
  • ‎Managing medicines safely and in line with legislation and company policy
  • ‎Supporting compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice standards
  • ‎Mentoring, guiding, and supporting colleagues in line with the NMC Code
  • ‎Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and external professionals

What We’re Looking For:

  • ‎A compassionate and dedicated Nurse with a genuine passion for high-quality care
  • ‎Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a team
  • ‎Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • ‎Confidence using IT and care management systems
  • ‎Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • ‎Experience delivering nursing care within the elderly healthcare sector (preferred)
  • ‎Experience contributing to quality and clinical governance initiatives (desirable)
  • ‎Respect for diversity, individual values, and personal choice

Shift Times: 07:45 – 20:15
