Our home also delivers a unique reablement and respite care service, helping individuals safely transition back home after hospital discharge while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Salary: £12.45 – £12.80 an hour

Job Type: Part-time

Work location: Hull, UK

Your Role Will Include:

As a Bank Care Assistant, you will:

  • ‎Support residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and bedtime routines
  • ‎Assist residents at mealtimes to maintain good nutrition and hydration
  • ‎Encourage safe mobility using appropriate aids and specialist equipment
  • ‎Provide companionship and emotional support, including accompanying residents to appointments or social activities
  • ‎Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
  • ‎Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary care team
  • ‎Welcome and support visiting family members

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine caring nature and passion for supporting others
  • ‎Patience, understanding, and respect for residents’ individual abilities
  • ‎Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential
  • ‎Willingness to learn, as full training is provided
  • ‎An understanding of dementia is beneficial but not mandatory
