Salary: £80k-£95k per year

Your Role Will Include:

‎As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining Bud’s core backend systems. You’ll work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications using Go and a modern cloud-based stack. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, mentor others, and help shape technical best practices across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
• ‎Passion for clean, scalable, and high-performance code
• ‎Solid understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture
• ‎Experience with modern backend systems, APIs, and distributed services‎
• ‎Commitment to quality, testing (unit & E2E), and best engineering practices
• ‎Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical discussions
• ‎A collaborative mindset with a desire to mentor, learn, and grow
