Position: Residential Support Worker

Salary: £27,254 – £30,024 a year

Job Type: Full-time

Your Role Will Include:

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality personal and direct care to children with a range of disabilities. You will plan and deliver engaging child-centred activities, build therapeutic relationships, support emotional and social development, and help children become as independent as possible. You will work flexibly on a rota covering days, nights, sleep shifts, weekends, and holidays throughout the year.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Resilient, empathetic individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children
  • ‎Experience in care or a willingness to learn and develop in a residential setting
  • ‎Commitment to working towards or holding relevant qualifications (NVQ/QCF Level 4, HSC 375 Medication or equivalent)
  • ‎Strong communication skills and the ability to think critically
  • ‎Willingness to undertake further training and professional development
  • ‎A full UK driving licence
  • ‎Legal right to live and work in the UK
  • ‎Understanding that this role requires flexibility and emotional strength
