Position: Automotive Mechanic 

Salary: £29,000 – £41,700 a year

What We Offer:

Your Role Will Include:

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards, with a focus on:

• ‎Leading the repair of non-runners, MOT failures, and advisories.
• ‎Handling major mechanical repairs including clutches, gearboxes, injectors, and full engine diagnostics/rebuilds.
• ‎Managing critical systems such as cambelts, timing chains, brakes, suspension, and steering.
• ‎Performing routine servicing and mechanical health checks to prepare cars for sale.
• ‎Ensuring workshop safety, cleanliness, compliance, and proper tool maintenance.
• ‎Maintaining accurate job records and contributing to smooth workshop operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years in automotive repair and servicing (required).
• ‎Diagnostics: 5–7 years of hands-on automotive diagnostics and auto-electrics experience (preferred).

‎Education:

• ‎Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology / Mechanical-related field, OR
• ‎NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) highly desirable.
• ‎Someone who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and delivering high-standard work.
