Sustain the Change Ltd is a purpose-driven consultancy founded in 2024 by Scott Duncan. The organisation supports community development, social value, and sustainability projects across Renfrewshire and Scotland. As a neurodivergent founder with ADHD and dyslexia, Scott uses the UK Access to Work scheme to stay organised and focused while continuing meaningful work with local charities and community groups.

Position: Self-employed Administrative Support Assistant 

Salary: £16.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Work location: Houston, Crosslee & Linwood

Your Role Will Include:

You’ll provide hands-on organisational and admin support to help the founder stay focused and on top of tasks, projects and day-to-day responsibilities. This includes helping break tasks into actionable steps, supporting workload planning, and ensuring key items are tracked, prioritised and completed. You’ll operate as a self-employed support worker and invoice for your time.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential

  • ‎Self-employed and able to invoice
  • ‎Strong organisational skills and ability to simplify tasks
  • ‎Confident using email, calendars, shared documents and basic digital tools
  • ‎Reliable, patient and comfortable working with a neurodivergent person
  • ‎Good communication skills for clarifying tasks and planning workloads
  • ‎Flexible and responsible in managing your own work
  • ‎Willing to learn simple project-tracking tools

‎Desirable

  • ‎Experience supporting people with ADHD, dyslexia or other neurodivergent conditions
  • ‎Background in admin, support work, coaching or PA roles
  • ‎Familiarity with the Access to Work process
  • ‎Experience using MS Teams, OneDrive or AI tools
