The CEL Passenger Transport team provides essential transport assistance to vulnerable children and adults across Leeds. Working within the Compliance and Business Administration team, we support the smooth day-to-day running of transport services used by up to 4,500 customers daily. Your Role Will Include:

‎As a Senior Business Support Assistant, you will:

  • ‎Provide high-quality clerical and administrative support, including data entry, document checking, reporting and record management
  • ‎Support scheduling, operational staff, and smooth daily transport delivery
  • ‎Handle calls via the Genesys telephony system and act as a key communication point for staff, partners and the public
  • ‎Manage email inboxes, respond to enquiries, and support private hire bookings
  • ‎Operate key ICT tools including Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, and transport systems (e.g., 365 Response)
  • ‎Support the Resources & Logistics Officer with financial transactions, data handling, reports, and meeting preparation
  • ‎Contribute to service improvements, problem-solving, and digital transformation
  • ‎Assist with training new staff and supporting team workloads
  • ‎Ensure all duties comply with legal, financial, audit, confidentiality, and safeguarding requirements
  • ‎Maintain high professional standards, effective communication, and strong customer service at all times

‎Qualifications:

  • ‎Essential: Good literacy and numeracy
  • ‎Desirable: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
