Your Role Will Include:
During this placement, you will be fully integrated into Caterpillar’s operations, contributing to essential engineering and maintenance activities such as:
- ‎Measuring and analysing OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- ‎Supporting availability improvement initiatives
- ‎Assisting with safety-focused projects alongside the Maintenance Lead
- ‎Creating and implementing maintenance processes
- ‎Working with Maintenance Support Engineers on MGPP (Multi-Generational Product Planning) projects
- ‎You will be responsible for key project deliverables and collaborate with global teams to solve complex technical problems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Open-minded, curious individuals eager to learn and innovate
- ‎Strong problem-solvers with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- ‎Motivated, hardworking students who embrace challenges and change
- ‎On track to achieve at least a 2:2 honours degree in
- ‎Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- ‎Students in their penultimate year (unless completing an integrated master’s)
