Salary: £25,647 – £27,540 a year

Your Role Will Include:

‎As a Teacher at Nacro, your primary focus is high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment. You will:

  • ‎Plan lessons, prepare learning materials, and maintain an engaging classroom environment.
  • ‎Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and deliver assessments aligned with qualification requirements.
  • ‎Support students pastorally and help them prepare for their next steps.
  • ‎Work with colleagues to improve delivery, identify support needs, and enhance the learner experience.
  • ‎Deliver tutorial or skills sessions where required, using ready-made resources.
  • ‎Contribute to assurance duties to ensure courses run effectively and to high standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking someone who:

  • ‎Is passionate about helping young people learn, grow and succeed.
  • ‎Is compassionate and able to support learners who have faced barriers in education.
  • ‎Is flexible, resilient, and thrives in a small, committed team.
  • ‎Holds GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or Level 2 equivalent).
  • ‎Has essential industry experience in catering & hospitality.
  • ‎Has experience supporting young people with anxiety, ASD/ADHD, and an understanding of the EHCP process.
  • ‎Brings strong subject knowledge and relevant industry or education experience.
  • ‎Has first-hand travel experience (as required for the curriculum).
  • ‎Holds a teaching qualification (desirable, not essential — we can support you to gain one).
  • ‎Is able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
