Position: Clinical Coding Auditor

Salary: £38,682 to £46,580 a year Pro Rata

Job Type: Full-time

Your Role Will Include:

You will serve as a highly experienced Accredited Clinical Coding Auditor, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of coded data across the Trust.‎Key duties include:

  • ‎Delivering NHSE-mandated Data Security Protection Toolkit audits
  • ‎Planning and implementing a robust rolling audit programme
  • ‎Providing bespoke audit feedback across various coding topics
  • ‎Ensuring coding aligns with national standards
  • ‎Supporting the transition towards hybrid working
  • ‎Identifying audit needs in collaboration with senior Clinical Coding and Digital Transformation colleagues
  • ‎Mentoring trainees and less experienced Coding Officers
  • ‎Offering sensitive, tactful feedback to staff

What We’re Looking For:

‎A motivated, driven, and highly skilled clinical coding professional with:

  • ‎Accredited Clinical Coding Auditor status
  • ‎Strong analytical and judgement skills
  • ‎Excellent communication and staff engagement abilities
  • ‎Advanced keyboard and IT skills‎
  • ‎Great time and workload management
  • ‎Experience mentoring coding trainees
  • ‎Ability to provide constructive feedback with tact
