Your Role Will Include:
As an Early Career – Junior Options Trader, you’ll support and grow within Keyrock’s expanding global options desk. Your responsibilities include:
‎Trading & Risk Support
- ‎Monitor and manage risk across options books under senior trader guidance
- ‎Maintain orderly books, check positions, PnL, and exposures
- ‎Execute trades and adjust positions following desk playbooks
‎Research & Strategy Development
- ‎Support research into volatility and options strategies
- ‎Analyse historical and real-time data
- ‎Maintain and refine models, parameters, and dashboards
‎Collaboration & Tooling
- ‎Work with engineers and quant developers to improve tooling
- ‎Test new system features and enhancements
- ‎Coordinate with other desks when flows overlap
‎Learning & Development
- ‎Rapidly develop understanding of options theory and crypto derivatives
- ‎Join strategy discussions, code reviews, and post-trade analysis
- ‎Continuously update market and product knowledge
What We’re Looking For:
- Early-Career Profiles Welcome
‎Quantitative Graduates:
- ‎Degrees in financial engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or similar
- ‎Strong interest in options, derivatives, and quantitative trading
‎Systematic / Algo Trading Background:
- ‎Experience in systematic/algorithmic trading or research
- ‎Comfortable with data, modelling, and execution
‎Junior Options Desk Experience:
- ‎6–24 months on an options desk (crypto, FX, equities, rates, etc.)
- ‎Familiarity with options concepts and desk workflows
- ‎Core Requirements
- ‎Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills
- ‎Proficiency in Python (Rust, C++ or Java is a plus)
- ‎Interest in crypto markets and derivatives
- ‎Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
- ‎Curiosity, proactiveness, and eagerness to learn
- ‎Prior internship/experience in a trading firm is highly desired
- ‎Strong communication skills and fluency in English
